Deposit & Cancellation Policy
When you make a booking, a non-refundable deposit equal to the full treatment cost is required to secure your appointment.
This can be paid in cash, via PayPal, or by bank transfer. If the deposit has not been received within
48 hours, the appointment will not be held and may be offered to someone else. This policy helps manage very high demand and reduces no-shows.
Please note: 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule any appointment. Failure to provide 24 hours’ notice, or a no-show, will result in the loss of your deposit.
Appointment times are always in demand — please respect me and other clients by informing me as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend.
Important Information
- Please do not attend if you are ill or feel unwell. If you suspect you have a medical condition, please consult your GP. Complementary therapies are used alongside — not instead of — prescribed medication.
- I am not medically qualified and cannot make or confirm a diagnosis.
- Please inform me of any medication, upcoming surgery, or additional therapies that may contraindicate treatment. You will be asked to provide your GP / GP practice details and any allergies.
- Eat something light before your treatment and wear comfortable clothing.
- Alcohol should not be consumed before your treatment or for up to two hours afterwards.
- After your treatment, please drink plenty of water and allow time to rest.
Claiming Treatments Through Health Insurance
Depending on your policy, some treatments may be eligible for reimbursement through your health insurance provider.
Clients sometimes claim back therapies such as Reflexology, Hypnotherapy,
Aromatherapy Massage, Remedial Back Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Indian Head Massage.
Coverage varies by insurer and by plan.
- Check your policy: Look for sections covering complementary or alternative therapies.
- Provider requirements: Some insurers require your therapist to be a member of a recognised professional body or to provide session notes.
- Ask for a receipt: I’m happy to supply an itemised receipt with treatment name, date, duration and amount paid to support your claim.
- Pre-authorisation: If your insurer needs it, please obtain approval before your appointment.
If you’re unsure what your plan covers, please contact your insurer. If you need any documents from me to support a claim, just let me know.
